What the work looks like

A family-run southeast Wyoming ranch with a growing registered Highland cow/calf operation and horses is seeking a long-term full-time ranch hand. The work combines cow/calf care, rotational grazing, horsemanship, facilities, water systems, fencing, equipment, and land stewardship.

What the ranch needs handled

• Cow/calf and cattle-breeding work
• Cattle handling, doctoring, and stewardship
• Rotational grazing and range-land management
• Water and fence maintenance
• Horsemanship, riding, and horse care
• Barn and pen maintenance

Experience that must line up

• Cow/calf cattle experience
• Horse experience
• Ability to work independently
• Valid clean U.S. driver license
• U.S. work eligibility

Helpful, but not automatic deal breakers

• Tractor, skid steer, and UTV experience
• Equipment operation
• Registered-cattle or show-cattle experience
