Terms of Service
The plain-English agreement for using Hardy Hands.
Effective date: June 19, 2026
These terms describe how Hardy Hands works and the responsibilities of everyone who uses it. By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to these terms.
What Hardy Hands is
Hardy Hands is a recruiting and introduction service. We personally screen workers, verify ranch roles, and introduce the two sides. Hardy Hands is not the employer. We do not hire, supervise, schedule, or pay workers, and we are not a party to any employment relationship that results from an introduction.
The ranch's role
The ranch interviews, makes the hiring decision, supervises, and pays the worker directly. The ranch is responsible for its final hiring decisions, background checks, verifying employment eligibility, payroll, taxes, insurance, any housing it offers, workplace safety, and compliance with applicable laws.
Workers
Workers do not pay Hardy Hands — the service is free to workers. Hardy Hands does not take a percentage of worker wages. Workers are responsible for providing honest and accurate information about their experience, references, and availability.
No guarantee
Hardy Hands does not guarantee employment, a successful placement, or any particular outcome. Hiring is always the ranch's decision.
Founding managed-search pricing
For ranches, the current founding managed-search pricing is:
- $100 search activation fee to start a search.
- $400 success fee when a Hardy Hands-referred worker is hired and actually starts.
- $500 total for a successful placement.
- One role at one location.
- 21-day initial search period.
- Up to 3 targeted candidate introductions.
Candidate-delivery promise: if Hardy Hands does not provide at least 2 reasonably qualified candidate profiles within 21 days, the $100 activation fee is refundable. This does not guarantee a hire. The success fee applies only if a referred worker is hired and actually starts.
This is founding pricing while we prove the model, and it is not represented as a permanent or standard long-term rate. Any fee is confirmed in writing before work begins. Existing grandfathered or custom agreements remain governed by their own written terms.
Acceptable use of information
Information shared through Hardy Hands — including worker and ranch contact details — may be used only to pursue a legitimate hiring introduction. You agree not to misuse it: no reselling, scraping, spamming, harassment, discrimination, or sharing someone's private information beyond what is necessary for the introduction.
Intellectual property
The Hardy Hands name, logo, website, and content are the property of Hardy Hands and may not be copied or used without permission. Information you submit remains yours; you grant us permission to use it to operate the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service availability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The service may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable at times.
Limitation of liability
Hardy Hands provides screening and introductions; it does not control the conduct of any worker or ranch and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, hiring decisions, or the outcome of any employment. To the extent permitted by law, Hardy Hands is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability in ways that cannot be limited under applicable law.
