What the work looks like

A busy equestrian barn near Washington, DC is hiring up to two full-time stable hands. Duties include daily horse care, stall cleaning, feeding, turnout, and general barn and facility maintenance. Prior horse experience is required; tractor skills are a plus. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check. An in-person trial-workday interview is required. Employer identity is kept private until an approved introduction.

What the ranch needs handled

• Clean stalls and prepare bedding
• Feed, water, and care for horses
• Turn horses in and out
• Perform general barn and facility maintenance
• Work as part of a team at a large lesson and boarding barn

Experience that must line up

• Previous horse experience
• U.S. work authorization
• Pass a background check

• Tractor operation
• Willingness to learn new skills
